Two Children

This site has been designed to provide an introduction to our practice. Please check back regularly with us as we add more information and resources.

"As a team you offer such a nurturing, safe and happy environment for our children as they battle against their individual challenges. You have always been nurturing, professional, human and honest. As a parent this has been important for us to know exactly how our children are progressing and what more we can do... please keep up your hard work and your belief in the children." Parent, October 2012

2013 DIR®/Floortime™ Australian Regional Training Program dates will be announced by January 2013 and will be sometime in July or August 2013. Click here to go to Event Booking page.

"The DIR model provided me with a whole new way of working with children and families. Kathy and Mari have an enormous amount of experience and generate such positive energy and warmth as they take you through the components of Stanley Greenspan's model and the Floor time approach." Training Participant.

Employment Opportunities:

From time to time we seek staff who would like to join our team.

Please email your expression of interest along with your resume to; Email: administration@sensoryconnections.com.au

Volunteering Opportunities:

We are looking for allied health and early education students and suitable others to volunteer during our SHINE program on a Tuesday and Thursday morning during the school terms. This is a unique opportunity to learn from experienced therapists. Our preference is for students who can come on both mornings and can commit to at least two terms.

"SHINE is a fantastic program where you learn so much about OT/SLP and their specific role in a DIR/Floortime model. It is also a fantastic opportunity to get first hand experience with a range of children. You will laugh throughout the sessions, plus you will learn so much about youself and a specialist model. Being coached by a highly respected therapist is a plus." 2012 Student volunteer.
