About Sensory Connections
We are a private paediatric occupational therapy practice based at 104 Keightley Road, Shenton Park, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. We are based in a comfortable home like environment with a range of spaces including a large gym and smaller therapy rooms.
Our team of therapists are committed to supporting children to reach their potential and to empower parents with the knowledge and skills that they need to support their children's development.
We work with children with autistic spectrum disorders, developmental delays, regulatory and sensory processing disorders, motor based disorders including dyspraxia, attentional and learning disorders as well as a range of other neurodevelopmental challenges. The age range we currently work with range from infancy through to adolescence.

Our services include both individual and group based services. We run an intensive multidisciplinary early intervention group program (SHINE) and other term based group programs. We run parent trainings and a Floortime parent support group program. We work closely with our speech pathology colleagues from Anne Nunn Speech and Language therapy services. (+61 8 6380 1793)
In addition to our direct services to children and families Kathy Walmsley, our director, provides specialist tutoring and mentoring services to other agencies and professionals both nationally and internationally. Please see information about Kathy here

Our staff are registered as providers with the major Private Health Insurance Funds and also with the Medicare Allied Health Initiative. Our senior therapists are also listed as providers under the Initiative in Mental Health Scheme (Occupational Therapists). Sensory Connections Occupational Therapy Services is an authorised lead agency on the Early Intervention Service Provider Panel under FaCSIAs Helping Children with Autism Package. Families who have a child who meets the eligibility criteria can use this funding support to access Sensory Connections Occupational Therapy Services as well as the services of Anne Nunn Speech Pathology Services.
