About Sensory Connections
We are a private paediatric occupational therapy practice based in Floreat, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia.
Our practice specialises in working with children who present with challenges associated with disorders of relating and communicating such as those presenting with autistic spectrum disorders, developmental delays, sensory processing dysfunction, dyspraxia, attentional, regulatory, and learning disorders. The age range we currently work with range from infancy through to late adolescence.
Our approach to working with children and families is influenced by the Developmental, Individual-difference, and Relationship based model, DIR®. Our staff have specialist training in this model and use a range of specialist interventions and programs which are tailored to the individual needs of the child and family.
